Higher Level (HL) vs Standard Level (SL)
Each subject have both type of Higher and Standard Level
You HAVE to take 3 HL's subjects and 3 SL's subjects
You are NOT allowed to choose freely the combination as we will provide you the available combo below :)
Higher Level
More demanding and comprehensive than SL.
More class hours per week.
Covers more content in greater depth.
Recommended for students with strong interest or pursuing related fields in higher education.
Usually, three HL subjects are chosen from core subject groups.
Standard Level
Slightly less intensive and detailed than HL.
Fewer class hours per week.
Provides a good foundation in the subject area without the same depth as HL.
Suitable for students with a general interest or not planning to specialize in the subject.
